IQ tests administered by psychologists vs Group administered tests?

Do you have a test to have more validity over the other? When I was eight years gave me a group administered IQ test at school and only scored a 90. As an adult gave me a test by a psychologist and scored a 96. What Testing should be considered more accurate? Should I average the two results and see myself as having an IQ of 93? Obviously, these two scores CI is very low, which creates many concerns for myself. In the test I did with the psychologist who earned a 112 in the verbal domain of the test and only 77 on performance. This leads me to wonder if someone like me is adequate to face the world independently. Does anyone like me be able to live in his own apartment and live indepedently people, or are like I was in group home environments?

I am currently involved in psychological testing and research in the area as well. I have read research that individual tests are more reliable than testing group tend to act more as a test for new evidence. That said, this is more common for individuals whose scores are in the top or bottom of the curve. As for your score, one thing you need to know about the ratings CI is that while there is a score above, usually located along a confidence interval meaning that your score is 96, then there is a probability 90% said that the true or real score is between 86 and 106 one. So on any given day when they are tested depending on external and internal factors that can do a bit different, but your score will be somewhere within this range. So, basically, not only based on a score. Then with individual test scores, if your score was 112 verbal score and their performance was 77, the scale of CI should not have been interpreted in the first place because to the great difference between verbal and nonverbal scores. However, the interpretation should have focused on verbal and nonverbal woould probably along the lines of his strong points — they are in the verbal area, but you may have difficulty with nonverbal learning and problems probably be disorganized or failure to plan properly (because executive functions are once again measured by the verbal subtests). Finally, 96 is a score that all modes is within the average range is, like most of the population. This means you would be able to function independently and access a job, etc. You do not have to be in a group home (not before ur 80 + anyway). This in no way means that you have an intellectual disability and until can be diagnosed by a simple IQ test. You need other measures of adaptive functioning and have to be from birth to be an intellectual disability. I hope I was of some help, although I realize I digress. So go ahead and enjoy your life and live as you have been … Good luck with everything! Salud!
