Ramadan: My experiment using the scientific method, feedback?

I like to study cause and effect in regards to Islam. So 1 month ago, I defecated on a Koran. I had my friend do the same on an English translated edition. Before we did this, we rated ours days on a scale of 1-10 for a month. It’s been a month since the defecation and there’s been no significant change in the patterns of our rating scale meaning our lives are largely the same, if not even better.
What does that mean about Islam? We concluded disrespect to holy scripture of Islam has no consequences. But in terms of external validity do you agree that ANY act of disrespect to Allah has no consequence? Meaning we as human can be as sinful as we want, raping plundering and pillaging and we’ll only suffer on Earth due to laws? Or is this conclusion beyond the scope of the data collected.

Explain? Do you believe there are long term consequences because we haven’t been faced with short term ones.

“We concluded disrespect to holy scripture of Islam has no consequences”

Really?

Aye, there might be long term effects…
The next life is longer than this one

Just like there were long term effects when thalidomide was introduced….
Bad experimenting gave false conclusions that it was safe….
It messed up lives…
