Does this help explain the fact that the inventors were women / scientists?
"Studies consistently show greater variation in the performance of men compared with women (ie, men are more represented at the extremes of performance), and that men and women are statistically significant differences in mean scores on tests of specific skills, even when the general IQ scores weighted. "Http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_and_intelligence know its wiki, but I heard that before, I can not remember where. Does this affect the number of women inventors and scientists? Harriet: Well that's obvious, I'm just curious how this affected scientists. RATM: The first click on an improvement "on board" Elok: I know that women were oppressed in the past, I'm just curious about this. I see the Fox News (Fox News we are not: P) so you can cut your fingers pointing to here.
Assuming that this connection is real and not just put in the Wikipedia for who you think I said this before. . . I that the data points as a fails in the test methods and sample population rather than any true statistical significance. I can not imagine any logical reason for a biological view (factoring in several generations in which it is not about "survival of the fittest" rather) why should not mainly male and at the top and bottom of the scale while women tend to compensate more than the midrange. That sounds like there's a social or psychological component involved, if you ask me. In other words. . . is not the basis that intelligence varies, but rather the ability to express the subects said the intelligence or the effectiveness of the methodology test as a measure of intelligence such. I stand outside the social sciences, because everything is always diffuse. I know it seems that there are sometimes differences in way women and men process information. . . but the difference does not equal good or for worse problem-solving abilities. They are just different, and its effectiveness is both the quantity and the practice has been working with what you were given. That's why people take challenging classes, and sometimes achieve advanced degrees – to learn to thinking.
Is IQ A Valid Estimate of Inherent Intelligence?
