Survey: Were you successful learning a foreign language?
I am conducting a scientific study in a non-scientific! On a scale of 1-5, with 1 the lowest and 5 the highest, please rate the following questions: 1. How successful were you in learning a new language? 2. How would you characterize the frequency of use of a dictionary in learning this new language? 3. Please rate your level of enjoyment of learning this new language. Thanks! I could be paying up to ten points … 4 languages is great – the idea is to determine whether a correlation exists between high and student achievement in language, and use the dictionary. Graem: good points, but I'm interested in this q is intuitive responses of people to the idea of "success" and the Q of motivation … thanks for the link!
1: (4) I would say quite successfully. German made four years, and have been doing now for 7 French. Of course, my French is now much better than my German is, and I can have a conversation in it. 2: (3) It is very common. Mainly to find unfamiliar words in long passages. 3: (4) The themslves lessons are not the most interesting, but we're not dead Eiht boring. The best part is going the country improve it. I went to France in the summer, was an experience cool.
